# white fuzz on my felt bush :(. just came back from vacation last…

white fuzz on my felt bush :(. just came back from vacation last night and found this white fuzz growing on the base of the plant where some of the previous lead growths were. should i be concerned? how do i treat it? how do i prevent it? thank you so much :)

I would wipe it and mist the base. Just found spider mites on one I rescued when they were on vacation. Also, I treat mine with cinnamon in case its some bacteria or fungus growing.

Looks like it might be mealy bugs. I take a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and pick them all off and wipe away any fuzziness left over. I also treat the entire plant with Neem oil as many times as needed once per week
