# !HELP ME PLEASE! Symptoms- itsy bitsy holes forming and ends crisping…

!HELP ME PLEASE! Symptoms- itsy bitsy holes forming and ends crisping ever so slightly also is that white powder stuff on the leaves normal? I’ve seen it on some of the pictures online of the lemon lime prayer plant. It was in a window that got direct sunlight for a couple hours now it’s in a window that gets no direct light will but so far I haven’t noticed a change however it has only been a day so I’ve come to the internet for help!

this has happened to mine. idk if it’s normal or not. but what i noticed seemed to help is to clean the leaves (with a wet rag) and it helps a bit but i haven’t noticed it causing any problems or damage to the plant

if it's only on 1 or 2 leaves i would prune and just monitor it, if more severe i would try a fungicide and also make sure not too overwater that can cause brown spotting/holes. And yes the white cast over the leaves are normal! you can use a mixture of dawn and water and wipe down your leaves every couple of months to get that shine back ,or even neem oil which is great for pests

Check for thrips and spider mites.

Maybe use distilled water to see if it helps. Might be sensitive to lime, chlorine, and/or fluoride.
