# So my wife was super nice and bought me this Calathea during her…

So my wife was super nice and bought me this Calathea during her lunch break but forgot to realize it being in the hot car all day was going to do some damage… any idea on how to salvage it?

Completely soak it. Keep it in a mostly shady spot for a while, and give it as much humidity as possible. But it’s a Calathea, so… it will live or die on its own terms haha

My Calathea seems to be a slower grower, but it definitely has grown despite similar issues. My advice: Don’t give up!
