# Noticed a yellow / brown leaf on my money tree today and it fell off…

Noticed a yellow / brown leaf on my money tree today and it fell off when I touched it. Any thoughts on what this could be? See a lot of new growth, but some are coming in missing a leaf or in this case mis colored

It could just be time for a leaf to fall.

However, if you see an acceleration of leaf drop, it could be something more. My experience with these is they come in absolutely the WRONG media for my heavy handed watering. They like to dry out some (the thick trunk holds water for dryer periods) and the coir that they typically come in is basically a death sentence in my home.
