# hi!! very new plant mom here. got this felt bush about 3 months ago…

hi!! very new plant mom here.

got this felt bush about 3 months ago at a festival and have a hard time taking care of it since, so many of its leaves have fallen ill with black spot and i’ve had to snip. the second pic is when i got him, the first pic is from a month ago, and the third pic is from today. the original pot broke recently and i’ve had to rehouse it into a new pot but is very droopy and i’m not exactly sure where to start when trying to bring him back to his former glory and a better one :(

I’ve never had a plant like this so I’m kinda just going off of what I know about other plants… I think it could be a few things.

it could be that it was stressed from repotting? or maybe it needs a different soil type or more/less water. when plants are repotted they need a lil extra water to help them get adjusted to their new space. if you’ve been underwatering I might try bathing it really well until you see water coming out the drainage hole in the bottom. keep the soil damp for the week following and see if that helps :)
