Help for Pete!

My husband repotted our Cat Palm and he’s gone downhill since.

We’ve tried watering more, less, taking him outside for more humidity and direct sun but he seems to be getting worse.

He does have one green shoot but it flops over.

Any thoughts on how to help Pete?

i would give him a more aerated soil with a lot more pearlite. he could be too tight in the pot

Are you watering w tap or distilled? My cat palm despises tap and will turn yellow

Really? Mine is perfectly fine with plain old chlorinated tap water

We actually do used distilled because he did not like the terrible tap water we have here.

Lol I envy you!! Yeah I guess where I am it’s either has too much chlorine or fluoride. She’ll throw a temper tantrum and 2-4 leaves will be yellow within days.

There could be a lot that can cause a plant to go from 100-10. Could be things such as water, soil type, humidity, fertilizer, schedules ect. My best bet is probably it reacting to being repotted.
