# I just bought this beautiful Pilea and repotted it into something…

I just bought this beautiful Pilea and repotted it into something larger however two leaves have already fallen off looking gross and splotchy. I’ve never had a Pilea before and am wondering if it’s just adjusting to it’s new environment or if there is some real problem I need to address?

Was it rootbound when you repotted it?

Maybe a tiny bit, but not terribly

i would try a more airy soil mixture. Also make sure it is getting a good amount of humidity and sun. my leaves tripled in size when i placed it on my east facing window.
