Anyone know what’s going on with my bird of paradise? I thought maybe it was a pest but I don’t see anything on the leaves.

Could be root rot? Check the roots.

It does look similar to root rot/overwatering issues I’ve had with other plants. Not 100% sure but might not be bad to check

A Thrip infestation. You will need something with copper in it. Like Captain Jacks.
