# HELP!! Recently got my prayer plant and repotted it and its leaves…

HELP!! Recently got my prayer plant and repotted it and its leaves wont stop turning yellow and curling! I’ve had to cut almost everything off the poor plant and the new growth that came with the plant has all died off. What do i do?

They fold up and down in prayer from stems each morning and night. The leaves shouldn’t curl. That could be sign of stress on multiple levels. Overwatering. Riot rot. Wrong kind of water (should use distilled). Being put in the direct sun or overheated.

Could it be possible stress from the new conditions that its in (because i just bought it) or from the fact that i just repotted it?

Yes and yes! Give it time. Hopefully with right conditions moving forward and distilled water and indirect light, she will improve slowly and start to grow in a few weeks.
