# Is there still hope for my asparagus fern? He got knocked over twice,…

Is there still hope for my asparagus fern? He got knocked over twice, and spent at least one day drying out in the floor. Now the soil won’t dry out but as you can see, the majority of the leaves have died. Should I repot him? Or is he too far gone?

I grow these outside in my flowerbeds. Just cut off the dead stuff and it will come back!🫶🏻

I was going to say… I swear this is the exactly like actual asparagus I grow in the garden…..is it? Or is it an actual different plant that is indeed a fern that looks like asparagus?! 🥴

It’s the same! I have much better luck with them in the ground than potted!
