# does anyone know what is happening with my plant? The leaves are…

does anyone know what is happening with my plant? The leaves are getting brown around the edges and some of the leaves at the bottom are getting yellow. When I looked online people said that the brown on the leaves might be under watering but the yellowing is overwatering. So I am really getting conflicting signals.

Overwatering. You can tell for sure because there is some fuzzy mold on the perimeter of the pot at the bottom where it meets the overflow dish. Can only grown in a super moist environment. Also the plant is really robust and sturdy and there is no shriveling.

Yes, overwatering.  
Let the plants soil dry our completely or about one to two inches of soil before watering again, and you don’t need to drench the soil just give moderate amounts of water every few days when the soil seems dry.
