# i’ve had this plant for a little bit now and i’ve noticed sometimes…

i’ve had this plant for a little bit now and i’ve noticed sometimes the leaves just look, translucent/weird? it’s a healthy plant producing tons of new growth with no other issues so i’m confused why it acts like that 🤣  
-also wanted to note that i do fertilize the plant regularly and even tried to increase the potency to see if it’d help and it hasn’t

Sometimes if you over fertilize a plant it shows up in the leaves with discoloration. But also kinda looks like some kind of variegation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

it tends to appear and fade away from time to time too. i tried googling and couldn’t find anything 🥲

it’s probably over fertilising or over watering. do they feel mushy at all?

doesn’t feel mushy, the leaves feel great and the roots are healthy. and i noticed it before i started fertilizing this plant so i began and it hasn’t helped. i also repotted bc it was root bound but this was over 2 months ago now and i’ve noticed this on the leaves for a while. and it doesn’t look like this all the time either! it’s so bizarre to me

Does the soil have those little micro bead fertilizer (usually yellow or blue) in it?
