# I have a begonia Julau that has some leaf browning. After looking at…

I have a begonia Julau that has some leaf browning. After looking at possible causes, I think I overwatered it. I was leaving for a week and didn’t want it to dry out too much so I watered a little early. It’s in a high humidity environment too and is under a grow light that is 1.5-2 feet above it. Do y’all think I have diagnosed it properly? I noticed this morning that the newest leaf has a small brown tip too :/

Hmmmm....when I over water I usually see all the leaves get angry. The rest of the leaves look great. The brown spot almost looks like a thumb print. Maybe it's an injury? If not, I think you're on track with the overwatering idea. 🤞🤞🤞 I love begonias, but their delicate leaves give me 7 different kinds of anxiety. 😬
