# Ficus Audrey: Bought this 6’ ficus Audrey about a month ago and…

Ficus Audrey:  
Bought this 6’ ficus Audrey about a month ago and immediately noticed fungal gnats once I brought it home. Still trying to get rid of them with mosquitoes bit tea/soak about every 1.5 weeks and have yellow sticky’s in soil.

Had to move it about 1.5 weeks ago to different house so it wasn’t continuing to infect my other plants with the fungal gnats. Gets brighter indirect light in this new location so I’m continuing to move it further away from the window (not sure if that’s the right thing to do).

I let it dry out pretty well (more than half the length of the pot). Has adequate drain holes.  
There are these holes and brown/black spot on leaves and stems and seem to be increasing. Also noticed a larger black spot on underside of stem where it connects to leave on several leaves.  
These seem to be random and not on younger or older leaves.  
Any help is appreciated!!!!!

It’s a very pretty plant! 🫶🏻

Try spraying your plant with a neem based insecticidal soap (I suggest ‘The neem co. 100% cold pressed neem-oil  
And add in a Pure Castile. Mix it together and spray all over plant… bottom of roots, leaves… everything but the soil I believe.
