# Does anyone know what these marks are on my monstera leaf? It’s a…

Does anyone know what these marks are on my monstera leaf? It’s a brand new leaf only a few weeks old. It also has similar marks on the stem since the leaf first started unfurling. It’s not bugs or mites just spots. Could it be due to under watering?

They kind of look like indentations, maybe it was being pressed against something as it was growing \& it just left a bruise..

It looks like mechanical damage, something must have pressed on it to leave marks?

Probably at else I hope so, because none of the other leafs have that. But I can’t think of anything that was pressing on it 🤷🏻‍♀️☹️
