# I’m worried about my Dracaena. I repotted her a couple months ago…

I’m worried about my Dracaena. I repotted her a couple months ago from an 8” to a 10” pot. Since then she’s developed spots and getting crispy ends on some leaves. Dr. Planta said to “flush the pot” but I’m also wondering I just went too big on the pot since her root ball wasn’t that big.

the pot might be too big. most plants don’t enjoy being given too much space. i’ve done it a million times and i learned that it isn’t always a good thing to increase pot size. i’d recommend checking the roots and going back to a smaller pot. also it might have a fungus (the one circle brown spot makes me think that).

Usually a pot 1-2” bigger than the root ball is best. She may need a smaller pot. Dracaena can also dry almost all the way out before a thorough watering.
