# Every time I move my plants on my windowsill there seems to be white…

_Posted by Jo on 2023-06-17_

Every time I move my plants on my windowsill there seems to be white small bugs underneath the pots. I wipe them away and the plants themselves are fine and not riddled with pests. I’m so confused as to what it might be. This only happens in the summer when my windows are open. Any ideas?

Maybe spider mites

Maybe mealy bugs

Maybe springtails or something similar? They feed on decaying plant matter (but not live plants, usually)
