# Hi all, I planted a jasmine in my garden 3/4 weeks ago. The leaves…

Hi all, I planted a jasmine in my garden 3/4 weeks ago. The leaves started coming through paler green then yellow/brownish.

Possibly overwatered at the beginning so have slowed that down.

Any ideas what is wrong and how to save it please?

It’s really hard to say but my guess is that it could be adjusting to the soil. It’s a good time to fertilize if you haven’t yet. I might use a kelp fertilizer.

Thank you for your advice, I will give it a try. I’ve tested the soil and it is too alkaline so will need to deal with that.  
I’m new to all this, usually just plant and hope for the best haha
