Hii, I have a super intense issue with fungus gnats! Ive repotted my plants, use neem oil, \& made mosquito bit tea \& they seem to just keep appearing/spreading to other plants. Any recommendations??

Hi! I use and recommend sprinkling some cinnamon on the top of your soil. It gets rid of all sorts of pests!

Bti drops on Amazon (the product is called: Ecological labs AEL20036 Microbe Lift Mosquito Control Aquarium Treatment, 2 ounce). Its the same as mosquito bit tea except it’s already in liquid form (so it should be easier than soaking the mosquito bits yourself). You use one drop per gallon and can add it to water for all of your plants!

I’m having the same issue! I bought Super Sticky Insect trap paper \& Zivo flying insect plug in traps. Highly recommend both of these to catch the adult gnats. They work immediately and will give you an idea of how bad the infestation is.

I also just treated my plants with the first treatment (1 out of 3) of mosquito bit that will kill the larva.

I feel you’re pain!!
I have tried neem oil didn’t seem to work for me, I have read that you have to spray often and for awhile
I have also tried cinnamon in the past
It killed my plants unfortunately, maybe I used to much
I have also used sticky tape, they definitely work but It never fully got rid of them
So now I am trying and have read sand on top layer of your soil will stop them from laying eggs and started only water from bottom and for my older
pots I am putting plastic wrap over the tops of my plants and around the plant to stop them from laying more eggs and also trying to suffocate the babies and those that are still flying aggressively squithing them when I see them to stop the process
It has been since spring and I am noticing a huge difference on the numbers
This process was my last resort short from starting all over 😩
I did also take some plants outside (herbs) and got new ones to start over
Good luck! Its very frustrating and heartbreaking
All the hard work

\*Plastic wrap over the top of the planters so no flys can get in or out
\* aggressively squishing the flys
