Not sure why I purchased this fiddle leaf with these spots. Anyone have any idea what causes these white spots? I don’t see any bugs.

Probably powdery mildew. Just spray some neem oil on it.

Already did that. That was all could think of at first.

neem oil doesn’t do anything for powdery mildew… it only stops bugs from being able to reproduce. copper fungicide is your best bet

Looks like calcium deposits from hard water being sprayed on the leaves

Could be. I’m using filtered water so hopefully that won’t happen again. I will wash the leaves good the spray with been again.

powdery mildew is the biggest cause of white dust. does it brush off easily?

It didn’t brush off easy. Today I wiped each leaf and cleaned off the white stuff.
