This looks very underwatered / dried out. #### ๐™ผ๐šŠ๐š›๐šœโ€ replied on 2023-06-08 i water it every 4 days. the soil is moist but the leaves keep drying out like this ### Kate commented on 2023-06-08 Might be overwatering or root rot. Sounds like you water it a lot - you should let soil dry out before waterings. I would cut dead leaves so it can save its energy growing new healthy ones ### Plant Lives Matter commented on 2023-06-09 It really looks like low humidity is the culprit. My first calathea looked like this till I made some changes. Spraying once a day isnโ€™t enough to increase humidity, and humidity trays only do so much. The best way is to get a humidifier or put it in the bathroom. ### Leafmealone commented on 2023-06-09 They can be finicky about the type of water used also. They donโ€™t always like tap water. --- _Source: the Planta community (https://getplanta.com). Reading is open to everyone.
