Hello!

I’m currently fighting against gnats (summer has barely started here!). I’ve tried peppermint oil spray (didn’t work), am using those yellow sticky traps but aren’t sure what else to do. I’m finding conflicting information online. I have a peacock plant, an evergreen, a banyan tree, pothos, and a jade plant, monstera and calla lily that are all affected.  
PS bottom watering hasn’t deterred them either  
Any advice? Miracle products?

Hi!! I had this problem SO BAD!! I got a spray from Amazon (local nurseries have it too) that you put on the dirt to kill larvae. It’s called Bonide Captain Jacks Bacillus Thuringiensis. Wiped them out!

Used that spray too for a particularly bad summer last year! Wiped em’ out!

I’ve read about water and soap mixture to help with the problem. I’m dealing with aphids on my Octopus tree and they don’t seem to go away! I haven’t tried the mixture yet but suppose to help kill them off. Curious can you find this spray like Ace Hardware or anything?
