I have a white bird of paradise which I recently bought. I think it has been overwatered. I’m planning on repotting with potting mix/orchid bark/perlite. Should I water it immediately after repotting or should I wait?

If it’s been overwatered and has rotten roots when you repot it, as long as you trim away the rotted roots and sterilize if you do that, you can give it a drink right away or wait a bit. No need to wait too long though, it will be happy in new conditions. Make sure it gets enough light though!!
