Neem oil the soil and buy sticky traps to stick in the soil. If gnatrol is available in your country I highly recommend it as a preventative.

Also consider replacing the soil and then making sure to water when the soil is dry 1-2 inches down or slightly moist (depends on your plant). Gnats like moist/wet soil.

I have it in orchid mix. Does that make a difference?

Your Orchid mix (bark etc) might be old and decaying, or have some mold/mildew. Fungus Gnats like to breed in moist decay environments, and they will cause/spread root rot, so yes, I would change out the orchid mix for fresh substrate. Otherwise you risk your plant succumbing to root rot death. It might also be an indicator that there is some deeper problem with the roots of your plant, so good to check it out by uncovering and changing all, and cutting away and/or treating any rot found.

A bit of hydrogen peroxide in the plant to take care of the eggs and some good ole traps for the live ones. For my infestation last summer I didn't wanna pay for any traps so I had some DIY apple cider vinegar ones.
