# I have a hanging sword fern and the birds just won’t leave it alone.…

I have a hanging sword fern and the birds just won’t leave it alone. I’ve tried the peppermint cottonballs, I’ve tried toothpicks, but I still find myself pulling out a new nest everyday and it makes me feel terrible😭😭  
Do y’all have any clever solutions for me?

Maybe you can use a net, chicken wire or something to cover it until the nesting season is over? 🫣

Bring it inside to a humid place or bathroom because hopefully, that will help.

Use fake predators or spray something that birds hate.
