# Help! My beautiful flourishing peace lily drooped in a matter of 1…

Help! My beautiful flourishing peace lily drooped in a matter of 1 day!! 🌱🌿 I had a small grow lamp on it while I was at work Tuesday, but I’ve used it before about once a week or so. I took it into the shade for 1 day now and it’s not recovering. 🥺

I also repotted it 5 or 6 nights ago. I took it out of the nursery pot into a pot with no drainage BUT there’s a big layer of rocks followed by a big layer of “smart gravel” pebbles. I watered it the night I repotted but not too much. Soil is a little damp but not much.

Maybe shocked? Mine love water and I find when they need water they droop. I’ve also found that when I don’t have drainage the bottom stays wet and it can rot. I would try some water and see if it perks up. I water mine about every 6 days.

I was wondering about shock too because sadly I killed a massive monstera just by potting it. So this time I let the peace lily stay in the nursery pot for about 4 weeks and get acclimated to my house first. I will try more water and then if it doesn’t help will repot with real drainage. Thank you!

❤️ My boyfriend over fertilized his moms peace lily and nearly killed it. Peace lilies are so forgiving and now it’s gorgeous and happy again.
