# I got this Swiss cheese plant propagation for someone about a 2 weeks…

I got this Swiss cheese plant propagation for someone about a 2 weeks ago. Since then a new leaf is coming but it looks like it has rot root. Is there anything to do to help save it or get rid of the rot root. The stem did go down further and had rot root previously so I cut it off, washed it and put it back in water.

Does indeed look like root rot. You did the right thing. Can also put ground Cinnamon on it. Will stop rot and aid in rooting

You could add some hydrogen peroxide to the water which whole increase the amount of oxygen around the roots.
