Hello! I’m new to planta and i have a question/ concern about my monstera thai constellation that i recently purchased. I bought it about a week ago and it came with a couple brown spots and a tiny bit of yellowing on one of the smaller leaves, i’m a little worried about it because i heard these plants are notorious for root rot. Does anyone have any tips on what to do or how to fix it? Or any recommendations for taking care of it?

I’m using a chunky aroid mix and it’s in a clear pot with drainage holes, i checked up on the roots and they seem to be doing really well, except for one little root that was rotted, i chopped it off and now every other root is healthy.

Don’t quote me on this but maybe the brown spots is because of humidity? Beautiful plant you got there though 😍

I don’t know how to help you but I will say I absolutely adore your monstera.
