Hi Planta Community! I bought this plant a few months ago, and repotted it in a mix of potting soil, bark and perlite. It seem to be doing fine, but yesterday I found it had fallen over and the root system did not seem to have grown so much. Should I do something differently?

It looks like there’s too little soil in the pot.

Haha yes, a lot of it ended up on the floor together with the plant when it fell over 😖😅

You might need to anchor it down or support it until it has grown new roots. You can use rocks or plant support, for example. It’s important that you try to water it deeply each time you’re watering it. This will encourage the roots to grow downwards and creating more stability. It also looks like it might need to get some more soil in the pot ☺️🌿

Thank you Elin 🙏 This help a lot! I just went and bought some more soil to add to the pot. Will also see if I have something to support the plant with until it’s rooted better 🤗🌴
