# I’ve posted my Aloe plant on here before and I’m honestly just a bit…

I’ve posted my Aloe plant on here before and I’m honestly just a bit worried. I haven’t had the time to get drainage material yet but I also haven’t watered it since then. this brownish color is kinda stressing me out. I turned it around because the longer leaf pointing to the back left has gone backwards significantly and I think that might be because of the sun? Is there any possibility that it could be getting too much sun? Or could it be under-watering?

Yeah that change of colour is a lack of water, it is a stress colour. Give it a good drenching over a sink until the water comes out of the bottom, then do it again. Wait until the water has stopped running out before putting it back on the tray. If you see water collecting in the tray empty it. Try to use water that isn’t freezing cold. Do you get much light where it is?

it gets direct sun light for 8 hours about and more indirect when the sun is going down. I will do that!! thank you!!!

This Aloe needs sun, all day, full sun. Find a very sunny place if you aren’t in a location that is warm outside yet.

My Aloe plant looked like this once. It was severely dehydrated and in a terracotta pot, which is porous. I set it outside (summer) and let Mother Nature do its thing. Once it started getting life back. I continued to water it in the shower or do bottom watering. Your best bet is to water this bad boy in the shower so the pot can soak up its own water. Drown it if must. lol.
