# Hi all! I could use some help with my peace lily. I went out of town…

Hi all! I could use some help with my peace lily. I went out of town for a couple days and when I came back, he looked like this. I watered him from the bottom and misted him a little, but he didn’t perk up at all. Help please!

😔 It looks dry to me still, but that’s just the top I’ve looking at. Hope others here can provide more guidance. Good luck!

that soil looks incredibly dry! put it in the sink and give it a thorough watering. let the water thoroughly come out of the drainage holes. trim off all of the dead/yellow leaves and give it some time.

Give it lots of water from the top until it comes out the bottom and it should come right back up and should be looking way better in a couple days

I just went out of town and should’ve watered mine before I left, mine looked the EXACT same way. 🫣These plants don’t play, they let you know when they are suffering. There will be some dead leaves in the wake of it all. Normally they spring back after about an hour after watering.
