I’m battling thrips right now. 😭 I’ve used neem oil, Castile soap in water, and systemic granules. I’ve also been removing any leaves with thrip damage, and yet they persist. Does anyone have any tips for eradicating thrips?

you just have to keep after them — it’s a long haul!

Rinse all affected plants under a harsh water spray and then continue that every few days. Put diatomaceous earth around the base of each plant as well.

Unfortunately, my apartment doesn’t have any sprayers. None in the bathroom or the kitchen.

Just stick the plant under the sink tap water to rinse the leaves. I will put Saran Wrap around the soil and pot. Tip it sideways and run tap water to rinse the leaves and stems.

agree it’s a long haul, highly recommend captain jacks dead bug brew if you haven’t tried it!!!!

It’s sounds like you’re using the right products, like others shared, it’s really a long game with thrips unfortunately. I had a bad case on my money tree and I have consistently treated it and showered it down since April. It just became part of its regular self care routine, 😃 finally started to see little damage on new leaves.
