I believe I’ve heard that thrips are really pesky. But for both hose down your plants and wipe them down with diluted neem oil. Get some of those sticky traps to prevent future ones. I also like to mix hydrogen peroxide with water (1:4) and water with that to kill any eggs in the soil

Oooh I didn’t know about the hydrogen peroxide. Thank you so much!! Definitely doing this from now on!!

Start with a harsh water spray under the shower or tap to dislodge a majority of them. For thrips remove any damaged leaves as they lay their eggs in the leaves.

Thank you!! Should I remove the leaf entirely? Like from the bottom?

Yes remove the leave entirely if you see damage from the thrips.

Ypu can research which would be best for your problem as well as your environment. Some only breed in certain conditions. Usually warmer. They can live in cooler homes, but your coverage time will be longer if it's warm enough for them to breed obviously.

I use usually dunk the plant in water and then spray with neem oil

That’s exactly what I did yesterday. I even changed the soil and threw the old one out. Afraid of them spreading again ☹️

I sometimes do that when the infestation is huge
