# Looks healthy but some leaves started getting dry. Watering when soil…

Looks healthy but some leaves started getting dry. Watering when soil is dry, medium sunlight indoor. Does this need a bigger pot? How can I make sure this stay healthy.  
I am pretty new to gardening and this is one of my favorite plant 🙂

ficus can handle quite a bit of light so you might want to move it slowly to a sunnier spot.

the only way to know if your pot is the correct size is to look at the roots. your plant ONLY needs to be in a pot (with drainage) that’s 1-2” bigger than the roots/rootball. putting a plant in too big of a pot can lead it to get root rot.
