# Hey, the middle of my air plant has had a dark brown residue in the…

Hey, the middle of my air plant has had a dark brown residue in the centre since I brought it and it hasn't affected it but now the new leaves in the centre are turning brown, what's wrong with it? Here another photo of my other air plant with similar brown residue.

It might be to much moisture in the middle

The plant looks like it’s rotting in the middle. Make sure to dry completely within 4 hrs of watering to stop.
