# My plumeria tree has been looking a little wilty for the past couple…

_Publicado por Jess el 2024-07-02_

My plumeria tree has been looking a little wilty for the past couple days- it did rain a few days in a row so I’m wondering if it just got over-watered? It’s still developing new leaves but recently one of its newer leaves turned yellow. The pot does have a drainage hole at the bottom- I’ve been avoiding watering it since it rained as the soil has still felt a little moist. Not sure if I should just wait it out- I don’t want it to get any worse. Any tips?

My best guess is you are correct about it being potentially overwatered. Yellowing or just yellow leaves in general can be because of overwatering or it can be a nutrient issue. You said it’s been raining a few days in a row so that’s probably what caused it.
