Can someone tell me what this hungry hungry caterpillar is? And how to stop him from eating my entire plant?

Oh, my! He’s a bad boy! I’m not sure what you call him, somebody else will tell you that; but I know he’s going to eat your plant alive. Carefully search and handpick them and get rid of them! I’m sure there’s something you can spray on them to get rid of those, but that’s not my Baileywick. Careful searching and handpicking will do for now. Good luck! 😊💚🪴

Thank you. He is huge and has devoured more than half of the plant already. I was shocked when I got home. I was gone a few days so hadn’t checked on it. I’m not sure how long he’s been eating it. I’m just scared he will sting me so was hoping I could pour salt on him or something easy like that.

I’m not an authority, but I don’t think he will sting you. Just grab him and squash him, the sooner the better! Your plant will recover and appreciate you for it. Good luck!

I can’t touch them.😬 I will flick them off into a bucket using anything but my bare hands. I dump them in a patch a weeds far away from my plants. Hopefully, they eat the weeds.
