my plants all suddenly seem to be having issues 😭 all of these leaves came off my hoya today with a very gentle tug. the bumps on a few are scary looking so I just wanted to see if this looks like anything worse than over watering? pls don’t say scale.

This came up when I searched for images of scale damage on Hoyas, I do see a similarity in the round brown spots and yellowing leaves . But, maybe it’s something else! Have you recently changed anything else besides over watering ? And do you have any other plants with a similar problem ? I’m sorry! Hope I can help :(

thank you for responding! I have spider mites on one, leaf rot on another, mysterious brown spots on this one, and the list goes on :) gotta love plant motherhood

I ended up repotting her. some leaves were yellowing and falling off but weren’t mushy at all and some leaves were shriveling up as if dried out. I live in CO so very dry here with no humidifier. there was some webbing so I gave her a shower and sprayed with neem oil (but I see actual spiders in this room frequently so could also be that). there were also bumps and craters and speckled leaves. when I took her out of the pot it was completely root bound, hard as a rock and very dry so I hope this helps. all my plants are dying send help

I am happy to report that I spotted 20+ peduncles on her today so I think she is saved 🥹🥹🥹 i’ve never been so happy!!!
