Hey planty people 🙋🏼‍♀️

So the soil for my FLF seems compacted. When I water him it doesn’t seem like there’s any absorption issues but he is showing signs of water stress in all his new leaves, including one that’s coming out now. Should I soak the whole pot for 10 minutes or just repot? He’s in a clear container and I can see the roots and it doesn’t seem like he needs a repot yet.

When’s the last time he was repotted?

It’s been prob a year or more. He was a prop from my friend with 2 leaves and started in water. He took FOREVER to grow roots. But he has 5 leaves now and is pushing out another.

So it might be hydrophobic or the soil could be too dense which the water will bypass it if it’s too wet also and fiddles don’t like staying wet to long so it
Prbably just needs a nice well draining mix.
