hi, i have a new string of pearls (abt 3 weeks) and it has mold. i’ve never watered it.  
normally i’d scoop the top layer and sprinkle a little cinnamon but unsure in this case.  
any recommendations?

Repot and make sure there’s a lot of drainage available and put in a sunny area. The soil is probably organic which can cause molding. Make sure there’s air circulation after watering to help with stagnant water.

thank you. idk why i’m hesitant to repot but i did take out what i could and sprinkle cinnamon

It’s OK! I loved my pearls. You just have to be super careful and it’s OK if they break off you can always try repotting the pieces that break off and seeing if they grow new roots! Even if you don’t want to repot, just put it in a place that has a lot of air circulation!
