# Just got this majesty palm from Walmart 😭 the leaves are turning…

Just got this majesty palm from Walmart 😭 the leaves are turning yellow with brown spots. I have it in the living room getting a lot of indirect sun \& it’s watered but not over watered (it was completely dry when I bought it). How can I save it??

my ideas would be to add a little insecticide, break up the top soil carefully to just aerate it and make it easier for the roots to spread/water to get in the dirt, and fertilize it maybe? how many hours of light would you estimate?

Treated it with this. I have him just sitting in front of my back door so typical day of sunlight.

It could be stress from changing environment if it was healthy when you bought it. It’s better to wait until the plant acclimates to your home before taking action. A leaf can die off during this period. Ensure it gets 8 hours of bright indirect light. This is typically light from a south or west window. Add a grow light if needed.
