# These spots recently showed up on my alocasia poly. Should this be…

These spots recently showed up on my alocasia poly. Should this be something I need to worry about? I recently repotted it and I’ve had issues with the rhizome rotting at the bottom.

If the issue continues I’ll probably just seal it back up again with hot glue but it was hopeful I wouldn’t have to do that.

Also curious because my Polly started doing that when I brought it home. I got my first new leaf not too long ago and it’s big and very healthy but the other leaves keeps browning.

I do know that alocasias are prone to fungus if you spray the leaves and leave the water on them but I don’t do that to mine and have the same issue. I also have good humidity for her cause she’s picky in that sense.

Yeah makes sense. The water in the picture is only on there because some dropped on it from another plant
