# anyone know what these markings might be? they can’t be wiped off.…

anyone know what these markings might be? they can’t be wiped off. can’t tell if it’s cosmetic damage or pest related. I thought it might be pest poop?? or maybe sunburn? (I moved the grow light closer in the pic for better viewing but it’s normally 6in away) the two leaves that are affected don’t touch whatsoever. it gets a regular watering once the soil is mostly dry. none of the other leaves have brown spots/tips, just these two and a couple older ones from cosmetic damage.

that looks like some sunburnt leaves. do you keep it in direct sunlight? mine is in my window and i’ve noticed some sun spots especially during the summer season

yeah i’ve just moved it closer to my window! looks like i’ll be moving it back though

It could also be watering issues if you still get spots after moving it out of the window.
