Mosquito dunks has been my lifesaver. Haven’t had an issue in years!

Do you dissolve in water and then water the plants with it or??

They don't dissolve. When I used the dunks or bits, I'd put them in hotish water, then let it sit until it was room temp. Fish out the dunk/tea bag with bits.. Then you water all your plants thoroughly. And you want to do that with every watering for about 2-3 months. To make sure you kill the whole life cycle

I put it in a bag (so it doesn’t break apart in water) and leave in watering can… I continually refill my watering can and let that water sit about 24 hours with dunk or bits soaking in it…. One dunk will last about 30 days. I never stop using them otherwise they will come back!

I was beginning to have troubles but then I let the plants really dry out. I’ve changed up my soil with a much more airy soil so it actually dries out, even in winter. But then I started bottom watering and it really worked. But I usually don’t let the very top of the soil actually soak, usually letting it stay dry for about half an inch deep. It’s tricky, but I haven’t seen any more gnats.
