# My Madagascar palm refuses to hang on to new leaves. They start to…

My Madagascar palm refuses to hang on to new leaves. They start to grow and then a few days later they turn black and shrivel up. This has been happening for a few years and I’ve tried more water, less water, more light, less light, soil change and nothing seems to work. I’ve checked the roots and they look very healthy. Any advice?

Have you asked the support team on this app? Takes a while sometimes but guaranteed, you will get a response . I only learn from a Google reverse search or killing then apparently lol

They will drop leaves if they're cold, perhaps this is it. Is there a cold draft near your plant
