Reviving very dehydrated airplants -

I watered all my new-ish airplants the day before leaving for a 9 day trip to see family, and came back to find them all deeply dehydrated — it seems the house sitter didn’t turn on the humidifier they are next to at any point while I was away 🙃

Is it too late for these beebees? Should I soak them longer than I usually would or again more frequently or just mix the goners in with the compost pile?

You’d be surprised what can come back, water them and see what survives. Don’t need to overly water them but more than they normally would be for the first application.

Thanks! I’ll give it a go 💚

Agreed let them soak for an hour or two! Just let them air dry after so they dry out
