# Any idea what this white stringy stuff could be on my rubber tree…

Any idea what this white stringy stuff could be on my rubber tree plant? Mealybugs?

Probably mealys. Kinda sticky? Easy to get rid of if you are diligent about maintaining treatment. Initially the alcohol and swab removal and then I spray with insecticidal soap every three days for about a week. I meant for about three weeks.

It looks like it's secreting latex.. aka rubber. It can happen on the tips or if damaged

If it’s hard or sticky then it’s just the sap from the plant
