These things keep popping up in my soil! What are they and how do you get rid of them?

Flowerpot parasol mycellium. You will likely see a mushroom soon. They're harmless to plants and people (just to be safe, don't let pets try to eat it). They can be a sign of overwatering if they show up often, but having mycellium usually means your soil is doing well
