# Can anyone help me identify what these dark red, oblong, rice-shaped…

Can anyone help me identify what these dark red, oblong, rice-shaped objects are? Are they eggs/pupa? 🐛
Few days ago, I found 3 white worms in the soil of my rosemary and succulents! 😱 Instantly, I dug up my plants \& repotted them in fresh soil. While removing the old soil around my plants, I found multiples of these rice-shaped objects! 🫣

P.S.: Research shows that cinnamon can help with deterring pests, so I sprinkled cinnamon on my plants, as well as sprayed Neem oil all over. Is it possible to spray too much?

Can someone please tell me if what I’m doing is correct for my plants? I’m rather new to gardening \& I don’t know what these strange red oblong objects are! 🥺 Thank you!

Yeah idk for houseplants, they could eat the roots or leaves when they hatch. I usually find them in my yard.

Fly eggs. They ate the worst. I got an infestation in my radishes. And soil I keep outside. Neem oil didn't stay active long enough but mosquito dunk in my watering can fot 24 hours then drenched soil worked 100%. In a week or so look out for long flat centipede looking things that don't move. That's the next stage. I picked all,the rice gross things and the larva that didn't move out and put in hydrogen peroxide. Let the soil dry out completely then use. If this is in a plant container. Neem soil drench one day, next watering use the mosquito dunk marinade. Definitely isolate the plant.
