# Having some issues with cactus not sure what’s type of cactus this is…

Having some issues with cactus not sure what’s type of cactus this is but think it might be some type of prickly pear miniature? But over the past year has been developing brown spots on leaves thought maybe it has some type of fungus thinking maybe I should treat it with copper fungicide but not sure?

I can’t help with the spots - I feel like I know too much but not enough. But, I believe your plant is Opuntia argentiniana.

Oh yeah it does look like this but much taller

Not to be that guy, but regardless of what the answer is, make sure you really follow the directions with the copper and/or sulfur. I overdid it on sulfur with a few plants, which lead to the base doing some kind of crazy super corking/pale, white oddity. I believe, as always, I didn’t get the mix right.

I bought that on Amazon and it helped.
